Dwi-Satabdi Smruti Mandir, On
tha eve of 2nd century birth celebration of lord Shree Swaminarayan, 9th day
of Chaitra month in Samvant 2037 dated 12-4-1987, Sunday on the holy land of
Bhuj city, one memorial building, called Dwi-Satabdi Smruti Mandir was
decided to be construted during the fuction in the presence of devotees.
During this great festival, where 200 yagna-vedies for maha Vishnuyaga were
Peformed. Shree Swaminarayan Dwisatabdi Smruti Mandir doors where made open
on 7-5-1992, Thursday, Samvat 2048 5th day of Vaishakh month. In this
building, the idols of great Acharyas of India as well as Ten Incarnation (Dasha-avatar
) idols of Lord Vishnu are carved on Amritshila (white marble stone). birth
to disappearance of Shree Swaminarayan bhagwan, Rasleela of Lord Krishna
etc. are full of ancient architectural carvings . In the whole of Kutch this
memoral is first of its kind Construction, made out of Amritshila. Devotees
used to observe pleasure during the visit of this place and experience
devotional bless. Attached to this complex, Shri Swaminarayan Student Hostel
is available where about 100 college student residing and study in various
colleges of the city. |
